Sunday Morning
Our Sunday gathering begins with a 30-minute prayer service at 9:15 am, followed by worship and teaching at 10. We believe that gathering together weekly for corporate worship and fellowship is crucial for life in the body of Christ. While we do livestream our Sunday services for church members who are sick or travelling, we strongly encourage all our church members to meet together in person for worship, “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some.” (Heb. 10:25)
PRAYER SERVICE
This community has been founded on prayer, from its inception to where we are today. Throughout the Gospel we see Jesus often going to the Father in prayer, so we are not so foolish to think that we can accomplish anything of true eternal value without Him. While we believe in a healthy daily prayer life, we also know the power of corporate prayer. This is why we open every Sunday gathering with 30 minutes of prayer from 9:15 to 9:45 am, and on the last Wednesday of every month we hold an evening prayer service at 6:00 pm.
Livestream
At The Well, we believe strongly that all members of a local church should meet together weekly—in person—for worship. However, we understand that sickness or travel sometimes prevents us from attending in person, so we broadcast our Sunday gathering live on YouTube every week for those members of our body who are unable to attend in person. To be sure you don’t miss a worship service, subscribe to our YouTube channel and you will get a notification when we go live.
Childcare
We call our children’s ministry Droplets, and we see this as a true ministry, not just a babysitting service. We look at our time with the kids as a chance to get to partner with parents to “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). We believe that God equips our children to play an active and edifying role in Christ’s Church, so we encourage them to listen to Him and walk in His ways. We foster this by teaching foundational truths, using Biblical language, teaching, demonstrating, and partaking in worship and prayer, and creating an environment where children can freely grow in their walk with Christ. Wednesdays at the Well are an important time of fellowship during the week. We believe that real life in the Body of Christ happens through table fellowship and studying the Word together. In the Fall, we will be offering classes and Bible studies for the children, youth, and adults. More details will be provided when those are launched.
