At The Well, we don’t do church the way the current culture tells us we should. Instead, we look to the Bible as our blueprint and model ourselves after what we see there. This means that we put the Gospel first and foremost, and we strive to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, minds, and strength, and to love each other as we love ourselves. To that end, we aim for intimacy in our fellowship, seeking to be active and involved in each other’s lives, “spurring one another on toward love and good works” (Hebrews 10:24).
At The Well, you can expect expository teaching from the Bible, worship that focuses more on God than on ourselves, and fellowship with real people who are not interested in “playing church” or giving fake answers.
volunteers
Jesus said that whoever wants to become a leader must first become a servant to all. At the Well, we want to actively demonstrate self-sacrificial love by putting ourselves last and serving each other in our church community and outward. We are primarily a volunteer-based church with very few paid positions. (You may notice we have no staff page. There’s not enough content to fill it!) We are a family here, and like a family, we all pitch in and use our gifts to build up the body in Christ.
